Review of environmental impact statements (EISs)

		· Hazardous waste incinerators (HWIs): Oekoscience has reviewed most of the HWIs in Switzerland: the EIS of the Ciba-Geigy HWI in Basel (commissioned by the building authorities, 1988), the EIS of the proposed von Roll HWI in Zielebach (commissioned by the site municipalities, 1992), the EIS of the proposed Sulzer HWI in Winterthur as well as the EIS of the proposed HWI in Spiez (commissioned by the site municipality, 1994).
		· Hazardous waste treatment facilities: EIS of the proposed treatment and collection facility for hazarous wastes of the Fritz Furler AG in Liestal; proposed remediation center for contaminated soils of the Amarit AG (commissioned by the site municipality, 1994)
		· Municipal waste incinerator (MWIs): review of the EIS of the planned enlargement of the MWI Josefstrasse in Zürich (commissioned by a neighbor, 1992), review of the planned operation and of the proposed site for a planned MWI in central Switzerland (commissioned by a local cheese factory). · Biogas facility KOMPOGAS in Samstagern near Zürich: first phase of the EIR, commissioned by the W. Schmid company, 1993
		· Others: gravel dredging work in Volketswil, air hygiene part of the EIS (commissioned by a neighboring facility, 1994), EIS of a construction refuse recycling plant in Bubikon (commissioned by neighbors, 1996)
